  1. Brown 2 lbs ground breakfast sausage with some diced onion and put in the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish.
  2. Cut sweet potatoes and a couple of apples into bite-sized pieces and cover the sausage.
  3. Add a little liquid, either water or chicken broth.
  4. Salt and pepper the whole thing, cover and bake at 375 for 30-60 minutes, or however long it takes for the potatoes and apples to be tender.
